Turkey in the Tree

Last night we saw this turkey high off the ground in the locust tree at the edge of our back yard. She was restless, craning her neck and looking in all directions. She hopped from one branch to another nearby branch twice before flying off. Yes, wild turkeys can fly! My photo was taken through a window, so the image is a bit blurry, but good enough to share. Note the blue face and pink wattle (it shows up better in binoculars; click to enlarge).
