Ardvreck Castle Lunch
After a busy morning we all were looking forward to our box lunch at Ardvreck Castle. But an elaborate surprise was in store! This was our lunch tent.
Fjallsárlón Iceberg Boat Tours
We had a surprise landing beyond the far edge of the glacier, a hidden spot with snacks, sandwiches, drinks, and benches to sit upon as we contemplated the majestic ice. (Surprises often involve treats!) Our van driver, Solveig, was particularly enchanted. But with the cold and drizzle, however, I failed to take any photos!
